Okhros International's experience with pigment and plaster spans the past 8 years. We are the exclusive North American distributor for the Society of France, the only remaining European company working the Ocher deposits in the French quarries of Gargas and Rustrel in the heart of the Luberon Mountains in the Provence region.

The Societe Des Ocres De France produces what many consider to be the best yellow and red Ochre from these deposits. In operation for over 100 years, their quarries in the Provencal Ocher Massif are registered by the French government as protected, and classified as natural sites.

In addition to our selection of pigments, we also specialize in offering superior French lime plasters, lime washes and supplies for the traditional plasterer.
